Building a New Research Community

What is multi-disciplinary research at Queen Mary, University of London? Here Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Computer Science researchers work together to produce cutting edge, exciting results. Bridging The Gaps is an EPSRC-funded project set up to facilitate multidisciplinary capacity building across Queen Mary. The project is now entering its third year. It has so far run 11 focused workshops, events and seminars and has provided funding for travel grants and 10 cross-disciplinary research projects across many different schools and departments.
